Through a combination of investment, project management, consulting, and educational programming, Biolocity provides early-stage, patient impacting technologies with the resources needed to reach critical commercialization milestones. The Purdue Discovery to Innovation Accelerator, located in Discovery Park’s Bindley Bioscience Center, is tasked with launching life sciences discoveries down a commercialization path. TechTown is an urban community of entrepreneurs, investors, mentors and partners creating an internationally influential village in Detroit. TechTown brings the resources of Wayne State University to high-technology startup companies to diversify and strengthen Michigan’s economy in high-growth emerging industries. The Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan is a permanent community endowment built by gifts from thousands of individuals and organizations committed to the future of southeast Michigan. The Foundation works to improve the region’s quality of life by connecting those who care with causes that matter.
They will also be identifying opportunities to attract new dollars to support important regional efforts. The DRIVe accelerators are an innovation engagement platform that works to support all of BARDA. While the DRIVe accelerators support the programs at DRIVe, they also support the divisions across BARDA with a program called “the BARDA Reverse Pitch”.

Announced at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting at Davos in January 2020, the Reskilling Revolution aims to provide better jobs, education and skills to 1 billion people in the next 10 years to contribute to future-proofing countries, companies and workers. It will offer a space for collaboration between business, government, and civil society to build a fairer, more inclusive world that will deliver benefits to economy and society for generations to come. The flagship initiative within the Reskilling Revolution is the Closing the Skills Gap Accelerator Model. The DRIVe Accelerator Network amplifies BARDA’s marketing and outreach and its ability to reach untapped pools of health security solutions. In addition to the use of social media outreach to reach these untapped solution pools, the DRIVe accelerators host networking and investor pitch style events on behalf of BARDA to increase engagement and access for both BARDA and product developers. We’re looking for the best entrepreneurs who believe in what they’re building.

CARB-X partners with accelerators around the world to provide scientific, technical and business support to CARB-X-funded product developers. Since 2013, MedTech Innovator has graduated more than 340 startups that have raised $1.8B in follow-on funding and launched 74 products on the market. MedTech Innovator has established partnerships with industry leaders like Johnson & Johnson, RCT Ventures, Olympus and Nipro. Each accelerator will produce a cohort of data professionals with interdisciplinary subject-matter expertise in health and climate data. Accelerators will partner with universities and other social impact and public sector organizations that will support the research and roll out of curriculum, resources, and experiential learning programs, in an effort to engage top talent in social impact. In surrounding communities, dozens of social impact and public sector organizations will reap the benefits, hosting paid data fellows who graduate from the program.
